Kyle Clancy

Coach Clancy is the current head men's soccer coach at SUNY New Paltz. In his first six seasons, he has led New Paltz to 4 SUNYAC Tournament appearances, including the first home semifinal appearance in the program’s history in 2018, and most recently guided the program to a No. 3 seed in the conference tournament with a home playoff berth in 2022. He has been coaching collegiately since 2006, including serving as the Head Coach at Sage College for 7 years. At SUNY New Paltz, he has developed and coached 4 All-Region, 2 Scholar All-Region, 1 Scholar All-American, 1 ROY and 11 SUNYAC All-Conference student-athletes. He also has years of youth coaching and camp experience working for Coerver New York, New Paltz Rec Soccer, ODP North NY and Alleycats Soccer. Coach Clancy also has earned his Advanced National Diploma through the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Mike Eckberg

Coach Eckberg is the current head women's soccer coach at SUNY New Paltz. After guiding the Hawks to their first SUNYAC appearance in nearly a decade, in 2021, Eckberg led the team to their second straight playoff berth in 2022 - the first back-to-back playoff bids for the program since the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Coach Eckberg was also named SUNYAC Coach-of-the-Year. He has developed and coached 4 SUNYAC All-Conference student-athletes. He has coached collegiately since 2011, serving as an assistant at Towson and Penn State University. While at Towson, the Tigers saw their first-ever appearance in the Colonial Athletic Conference Tournament in 2014 and helped produce 1 All-Region and 6 CAA All-Conference players. While at Penn State, the Nittany Lions reached the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals, the second round of the NCAA tournament and helped developed 1 All-American and 5 All-Region selections. He has served as a summer camp coach at Penn State, Duke, Maryland, Georgia, Dartmouth and Towson.
