Kyle Clancy

Coach Clancy is the current head men's soccer coach at SUNY New Paltz. In his first nine seasons, he has led New Paltz to 7 SUNYAC Tournament appearances, including the first home semifinal appearance in the program’s history in 2018, and five straight playoff appearances for the first time in program history. During that time, SUNY New Paltz also achieved National recognition, with a Top 25 ranking during the 2021 season, a top 32 ranking in the 2023 season and a top 39 ranking in the 2025 season. Coach Clancy has been coaching collegiately since 2006, including serving as the Head Coach at Sage College for 7 years and Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at SUNY New Paltz for 3 years. At SUNY New Paltz, he has developed and coached 8 All-Region, 3 Scholar All-Region, 1 Scholar All-American, 1 ROY and 20 SUNYAC All-Conference student-athletes. He also has years of youth coaching and camp experience working for Coerver New York, New Paltz Rec Soccer, ODP North NY and Alleycats Soccer. Coach Clancy also has earned his Advanced National Diploma through the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Aaron Kelly

Aaron Kelly entered his first season as the lead assistant coach for SUNY New Paltz men's soccer in 2023. Kelly began his coaching career with Webutuck High School, winning the Class C Section Championship. He then spent three years with the New York Red Bulls before taking an assistant coaching role with the Ohio Northern University men's soccer program. During his time at Ohio Northern, the program was ranked 9th in the nation.
After Ohio Northern, he went on to coach at Soccer Plus Academy where his team participated in the NPL and Super Y National Tournament. He has also been an assistant coach for men's soccer programs at Mount Saint Mary College and Vassar College as well as USL2 side Hudson Valley Hammers.
Kelly has completed his Welsh FA C License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and the NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma.

Christian Micheli

Christian was a 3-year starter in goal for the SUNY New Paltz men's soccer team and in his senior season, helped lead the team to the SUNYAC Semi-finals with a result in the quarterfinals over Plattsburgh. He was 1st Team All-SUNYAC and 4th Team All-Region III in his senior season.

Matt Koziol

Coach Koziol has been with an Assistant Coach for SUNY New Paltz since Coach Clancy began in 2016. A former star for RPI and a current regular for the Kingston Stockade, Koziol brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience and has been crucial to the growth of SUNY New Paltz Men's Soccer.

Ismael Bravo

Coach Bravo joined the Hawks staff in the winter of 2026 and will be assisting in all aspects of the program. He has expierence coaching as an assistant at the D3 level and also works with Cedar Stars Academy Hudson Valley. Coach Bravo has earned his C License from the USSF.
